European Commission Launches 'You Control Climate Change' campaign - With global hurricane season right around the corner, Ireland’s top weather presenters are joining forces to combat climate change. 'You control climate change', a public awareness campaign to limit the threat of global warming, launched recently in Ireland with the help of Sky’s Lisa Burke, TV3’s Martin King, RTE’s Nuala Carey and TG4’s Daithi O Sé. The European Commission-led campaign challenges individuals to play their part in taking control of climate change by making small changes to their daily routine to achieve significant reductions of greenhouse gas emissions.
